ARCHITECTURAL MEMBRANES
Resilient, weather-resistant, and durable; FIBERFLON Architectural Membranes are long-lasting, tensioned PTFE coated or laminated fiberglass fabrics popular in the construction of astonishing stadiums, airport terminals, retail spaces and more. With an expected project life for more than 30 years, PTFE fiberglass membranes can be successfully used in all types of weather, from polar to tropical climates.
PTFE is the most durable fabric coating available. PTFE fiberglass coating is chemically inert, resistant to UV degradation, and able to withstand temperatures from -100°F to 500°F (-73°C to +232°C). When PTFE coating is combined with the mechanical strength and dimensional stability of the woven fiberglass, it makes PTFE fiberglass membranes advantageous from conventional glazing. Along with the fact that these fabrics can be readily cleaned by rainwater due to their low surface free energy, PTFE fabric’s superior characteristics make these products essential for any architectural project requiring durability, longevity, and stability.
